Job Description:

We are looking for a Heat Transfer Operator to join our team! Ideal candidates will have worked in apparel heat transfer operations, but this is not required. In this role you will be applying heat transfers to garments using a small or large-sized heat press; Fold garments; Repackage clothing and return to appropriate bins; Monitor inventory of heat transfers and report to management for reorder when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Be comfortable operating machinery
• Load and unload screens from the machine
• Set up jobs in computer to print
• Supervise jobs as they print looking for proper registration - having a great eye for detail is important
• Screen Making & Reclaiming (all printers need to know how to do this)
• Maintain production and quality by inspecting random production samples
• Maintain quality by inspecting the work of team members
• Start-up and Shut-down printing presses by removing ink and paper; cleaning parts and components; returning paper and ink to stock
• Ensures press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions
• Maintain clean & tidy workspace
• Be Highly Organized and Self-Motivated
• Work long hours on feet or actively moving around
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Perform tasks by following instructions and adhere to all safety rules without exception.
• Effectively communicate with other team members
• Operate a manual heat press-printing machine.
• Producing garments such as t-shirts and hats with company logos and messaging
• Placement of logos and attention to detail of the finished product
• Packaging and preparing packages to be shipped.

• Have a clear and good vision to see the print quality, colors, and registration
• Have good touch and feel
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the USA
